MechMaxx Shipping & Returns Policy

Shipping & Freight Delivery Overview

MechMaxx products are large, palletized machines that ship via third-party freight carriers from MechMaxx’s U.S. warehouse network. Most orders are submitted for processing within 2–5 business days after purchase and typically ship within 2–4 business days after submission, depending on inventory status and handling requirements.

Once shipped, freight transit typically takes 5–10 business days, depending on carrier availability, destination, and regional conditions. Estimated total delivery window: 7–14 business days. All shipping and delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Shipping Method & Delivery Scope

All MechMaxx equipment ships via LTL freight with curbside delivery only, unless additional services are quoted and approved prior to shipment.

Standard freight delivery includes:

  • Delivery to curb, driveway end, or loading dock

  • Palletized or crated equipment

  • No inside placement, unpacking, assembly, or setup

Freight carriers do not provide:

  • Inside delivery

  • Assembly or installation

  • Electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical hookups

  • Packaging or crate removal

Customers are responsible for having appropriate equipment and assistance available to receive freight shipments.

Optional Freight Services

Additional services may be required depending on delivery location, including:

  • Liftgate service

  • Residential delivery

  • Limited-access locations

  • Non-dock delivery

These services are not included by default and must be requested before shipment. Availability and pricing are determined by the freight carrier and manufacturer and are not guaranteed in all areas.

Delivery Appointments & Access

Freight carriers typically contact the customer to schedule delivery. A valid phone number is required at checkout.

Missed appointments, inaccessible delivery locations, refused shipments, or failed delivery attempts may result in additional carrier fees. These fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Inspection, Damage & Reporting

All freight shipments must be inspected at the time of delivery.

If visible damage is present:

  • Note the damage clearly on the delivery receipt before signing

  • Take photos of the damage, packaging, and pallet

  • Report the issue to support@mywoodworkingdirect.com within 24 hours

Damage reported after delivery or without notation on the delivery receipt may not be eligible for a freight claim.

Returns, Cancellations & Refunds (MechMaxx Products)

Cancellations Before Shipment

Orders may be canceled before shipment only if the order has not yet been released to freight.
Once submitted to MechMaxx’s fulfillment system, cancellation may no longer be possible without manufacturer fees.

A processing fee may apply depending on order status.

Cancellations After Shipment

Once a MechMaxx order has shipped, it cannot be canceled.
If delivery is refused or the shipment is returned, all associated freight charges, return shipping, and manufacturer fees will be deducted from any eligible refund.

Return Eligibility

MechMaxx return eligibility is determined by the manufacturer and is not guaranteed.

In general:

  • Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery

  • Products must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging

  • A Return Authorization (RA) is required before any return is attempted

Some MechMaxx products may be non-returnable once shipped.

How to Start a Return

All MechMaxx return requests must be initiated through My Woodworking Direct, who coordinates return approval and logistics with the manufacturer.

To request a return, email support@mywoodworkingdirect.com with:

  • Order number

  • Reason for return

  • Photos of the product and packaging

We will coordinate with MechMaxx to determine eligibility, approval, return location, and applicable fees. Return approval is not automatic and depends on manufacturer review.

Return Shipping & Fees

If a return is approved:

  • The customer is responsible for all return freight costs

  • A restocking fee (typically up to 15%) may apply

  • Original outbound freight costs are non-refundable

  • Improperly packaged or damaged return shipments may be refused

Refunds are issued only after the returned item is received and inspected by the manufacturer.

Custom, Special-Order & Made-to-Order Items

Custom or made-to-order MechMaxx products cannot be canceled or returned once production or fulfillment has begun. All sales are final for these items.

Delays & Backorders

Shipping delays, production delays, or carrier issues do not qualify an order for cancellation or refund once shipped.

Estimated shipping dates are provided for planning purposes only.

Non-Returnable MechMaxx Items

The following MechMaxx products and situations are not eligible for return or refund once an order has shipped. These limitations are set by the manufacturer and cannot be overridden by the dealer.

MechMaxx returns will not be approved for:

  • Products that have been used, operated, installed, or modified

  • Items returned due to customer preference after opening (non-quality related reasons)

  • Products that are not in original packaging, or are missing original components, accessories, or documentation

  • Items damaged due to improper handling, misuse, negligence, or incorrect installation

  • Products damaged after delivery that were not noted on the delivery receipt

  • Freight damage reported outside the required reporting window

  • Products returned without prior return authorization

  • Items returned with inadequate or unsafe packaging, resulting in transit damage

  • Orders refused at delivery or returned due to incorrect address, inaccessibility, or missed appointments

  • Custom, special-order, or made-to-order MechMaxx products once production or fulfillment has begun

These exclusions are determined by MechMaxx and apply regardless of purchase channel.

Important Notes

  • My Woodworking Direct is an authorized dealer, not the manufacturer

  • All returns, replacements, and approvals are subject to MechMaxx policies

  • Manufacturer policies override general site return terms for MechMaxx products
